Evidence suggests it is effective at reducing many forms of inflammation, including: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, type 2 diabetes, ulcerative colitis, allergies and workout-related pain.

Devil’s Claw: The fruit of devil’s claw is used in herbal medicine to reduce inflammation. It improves mobility and pain relief in a variety of conditions as effectively as taking a double dose of aspirin. Evidence suggests that it may be a safer alternative treatment for inflammatory conditions like arthritis of the knee and hip and low back pain.

Boswellia Serrata: Boswellia Serrata extract (BSE) when given to patients three times a day, significantly reduced pain and stiffness while improving their joints. It has also shown a reduction in bone spurs, and an increase in joint space.

Ginger: Widely used as an effective treatment in nausea and vomiting, ginger is also used as an anti-inflammatory. The compounds, gingerol and zingerone are ginger’s primary active elements. The two compounds together reduce many forms of inflammation, from colitis to kidney damage to diabetes and cancer.

White Willow: The bark of white willow contains salicin, which is a chemical like aspirin and can be used as an alternative to aspirin. In combination with the herb’s powerful anti-inflammatory plant compounds, salicin is  responsible for the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects of the herb. The high potency of white willow translates to faster absorption into the bloodstream giving you rapid relief.

Cayenne Pepper: Aids the body in fighting inflammation. Cayenne contains a substance known as capsaicin. It triggers a biochemical reaction that is both pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory. Oral capsaicin provides pain relief for various types of arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
